Most image tools online are built to make files smaller. IncreasePhotoSize solves the opposite problem: sometimes a photo needs to be bigger — in file size (KB or MB), in pixel dimensions, or in resolution — because a form, printer, or platform has a minimum requirement your photo doesn't meet.
We built this tool after seeing how often exam portals, government forms, and document uploads reject photos for being too small, with no easy way to fix it without installing software or uploading a photo to a stranger's server. A photo that's a few KB under a form's minimum, or a few pixels short of a printer's requirement, shouldn't mean starting over with a different camera or a paid app.
Every image you process runs entirely inside your browser using the Canvas API. Nothing is ever uploaded to a server — your photo never leaves your device. Choose how you want to increase your image, process it, and download the result instantly. Close the tab and there's nothing left behind on any server, because there never was anything there to begin with.
"Increase the size" means different things depending on why you're doing it, so we built three distinct modes instead of one confusing setting:
Students uploading photos to exam and recruitment portals, applicants filling out government and passport forms, and anyone who has ever hit a confusing "file too small" or "image dimensions too low" error on a form that gave no way to fix it. If you've ever had a photo rejected for being too small rather than too large, this tool was built with you in mind.
IncreasePhotoSize is an independent project, not affiliated with any government agency, exam board, or recruitment portal. We simply build the tool that helps you meet their requirements. If something isn't working the way it should, our Contact page is the fastest way to reach us.
